Kim M. R.
Office Manager, Certified Veterinary Technician since July 1984.
I started at MDVC in 1984 and knew what a poodle and doberman looked like. Of course since then I have learned much more. While working at MDVC I was able to take the Veterinary Technician exam and become licensed. I also "graduated" to become the Office Manager. The best part of my job is talking to people and helping them understand their pets better.

Certified Veterinary Technician since June 1994.
I graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Madison Area Technical College in 1994, and shortly after passed my Wisconsin Certification Exam. I enjoy all the animals young and old. They all present their own challenges, all of which I'm ready for. In addition to all the nursing skills I use on a daily basis, I am one of the technicians who performs the dentals. I also went to an ultrasound seminar and enjoy using this skill. When I'm not at work I enjoy spending time with my husband Chad and our two wonderful children Olivia and Chase. I'm currently without pets but I hope to change that in the near future.

We currently have 2 cats. "Oreo", our lovably rescue, and "Sand Trap", a stray found at a local golf course that stole our hearts after she was brought into the clinic. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, singing and anything weather related, as I am also a certified storm spotter for the National Weather Service.

Lori
Kennel Manager. I have been married for over 20 years to a wonderful man named Greg. Together we have 6 children, 3 dogs, 1 cat, 2 gerbils, 1 mouse, and 1 cockatiel. I have always been interested in animals. I grew up on a hobby farm in Tisch Mills. We had horses, cattle, pigs, ducks, chickens, dogs, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs while living there. For the past 3 years I have loved working with the pets that come to visit at MDVC. Every pet has a personality of it's own. I enjoy that diversity. Besides taking care of my family and home, I home-school two of our children and try to keep up with our youngest. My husband and I enjoy spending time with our family and all of our pets.
